Hello! My name is Nuha Omer, and I am a senior in high school. For the past few years, this website has been a place for me to post my writing work, and it still is. But I want it to do more than that. Over the past few months, I have begun a research initiative entitled Cultural Ideals and its Impact on Women, which involves surveying groups on topics related to gender discrimination in cultural communities. Writing my thoughts about the world is very important to me, and I see it as a first step towards helping
make positive change. My goal is to channel my passions for writing, communicating and research into a
range of related subjects, such as politics, global warming, and globalization. But I want this to be a
